This tour was absolutely a highlight of our trip! From Ghent, we left early and the drive to Dinant was scenic and peaceful. The riverside castle is stunning, it has amazing views… Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of interesting stories about the castle’s past, the region’s culture, and how the monks brew beer (yes, beer monastery!!!)

Our first stop included coffee and tasting various types of cookies while enjoying beautiful views of the castle. Visiting the monastery was really nice. Chimay was amazing! Joris' timing was impeccable at each stop. Being with Joris was like hanging out with a friend. He is a native and loves his country. With this personal tour, you get to see a lot of places that you wouldn't typically have access to with a bus tour group.
