Cancellation policy
Private guided days in Belgium
All cancellations must be made in writing by email to hello@belgiumswanderlust.be. The date I
receive your email counts as the official cancellation date used to calculate any fees.

Cancellation by the guest or travel advisor
The following fees apply, based on how far in advance you cancel before the date of your day.

More than 14 days before your day: No charge
Between 14 and 7 days before your day: 30% of the total price
Between 7 days and 72 hours before your day: 50% of the total price
Less than 72 hours before your day, no-show, or ending the day early: 100% of the total price
Â
For cancellations more than 14 days out, any non-recoverable costs already incurred still apply. See below.

Non-recoverable costs
Any prepaid costs that cannot be refunded (such as guides, transport, tickets, reservations, or external suppliers) are always charged in full, regardless of when you cancel.

Changes
Changes to the programme are possible, subject to availability, and may lead to a price adjustment. Changes requested within 72 hours of the start cannot be guaranteed.

Force majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as extreme weather, strikes, safety risks, or government measures), Belgium's Wanderlust reserves the right to adjust or cancel the programme. If I cancel due to force majeure, I will arrange a suitable alternative or refund the price of your day, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred.

The Best Day Guarantee (direct bookings)
For days booked directly with Belgium's Wanderlust, one promise applies on top of everything above: if your day was not the best day of your Belgium trip, tell your guide in person at drop-off and I refund the full price of your day. This guarantee covers the day as delivered. Cancellations before the day follow the table above. Bookings made through platforms such as Viator or GetYourGuide follow that platform's own policy.
